Hi. I am Leah. I am a Professional Boudoir Photographer with multiple awards and credits and I do this for my job and I am telling you a HUGE secret about boudoir.

The secret is…
You can keep on ALL of your clothes and still have a boudoir session. That’s right! Jeans and a shirt, a beautiful dress, a slouchy sweater and leggings… I’m telling you that you can definitely NOT get naked or even HALF naked and it is still going to be a boudoir session.
Let me explain what I mean….
WHAT BOUDOIR TRULY MEANS
Boudoir doesn't mean being naked. Boudoir is way, WAY more than just that.
Boudoir is originally a French word means a woman’s private sitting room, and that is what boudoir photography tries to capture. It is about showing a private part of yourself, but that is different for everyone!
For one Brave Boss Babe it means being very modest and for another it can mean being naked the entire time!
No matter what you want: our studio is ready to meet you where you are. We never pressure you to do something that would feel out of place or does match your personality.
Boudoir means a woman’s private sitting room - and we take that to mean that we want to celebrate what is personally YOU. Think about how you decorate your bedroom. It is full of things that make you feel good, make you feel like YOU! So that is what we aim for with our sessions.
We want your session to feel like we are taking a peek into your private, personal self. So if that means you are in cut off jeans and a band shirt? GREAT! If you are in the strappiest lingerie ever invented? AWESOME! If you are baring it all? WOW!
It's about EMBRACING YOU, feeling EMPOWERED, CELEBRATING YOURSELF, or just LOVING EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE at that moment!
It’s not about getting enticing, or tempting anyone… as it’s absolutely NOT for anyone BUT YOURSELF (but if you have a partner - they can reap the benefits)!

In Boudoir, YOU are the subject. Regardless of whether you’re partially or fully clothed, as long as you’re comfortable and you feel powerful and confident, you are definitely having a BOUDOIR SESSION.

Everyone is different when it comes to what feels comfortable to them in a boudoir session. That is normal!
Some come in ready to rock with revealing lingerie and others feel that even wearing a t-shirt and shorts is exposing. We make space for both. There is room for all preferences in our studio!
Because MODESTY IS ABSOLUTELY DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE.
Someone's modesty may mean topless but must be fully covered on the bottom, or vice versa!
We are individuals and because of that we get to decide what feels right for ourselves - and that includes how covered (or uncovered) we want to be!
