8 Wedding Pictures That Your Photographer Needs To Capture

Like all of the best moments in life, your wedding day will fly by, and before you know it, it will be just another one of your favorite memories. But just because your wedding day may be over in a flash, doesn’t mean that you can’t relive it through the photos captured by your wedding photographer. For this reason, your photographer must capture moments like your first kiss as a married couple, pictures of your guests laughing, and other magical moments that will help set the scene. Here are eight that we think you shouldn’t forget.

  1. A photo of the rings

A photo of your rings before they take their final place on your finger is a very poignant shot, especially if you have designed a custom ring using a site like https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/search/ and wish to capture its exquisite detail up-close.

2.) A photo of the groom getting ready

Most wedding photographers focus on getting a picture of the bridal party as they get ready, but some great candid shots can be had by visiting the groomsmen.

3.) A photo of your wedding shoes

The shoes that you wear on your wedding day will likely spend most of the day hidden underneath your gown, so give them some time to shine with their own little photoshoot.

4.) A photo of the bride as she arrives

Ask your wedding photographer to get some snaps of you as you arrive at your venue as this will capture your wedding car and also the father of the bride as he helps you out of the vehicle. This image was extra special as this couple had both lost their first spouses to tragedy and thought they would never find love again. The groom met his bride in the limo before they married at a local castle styled restaurant in an intimate, family oriented ceremony.

5.) Photos of the first look

First looks are always magical moments, so be sure to capture as many of them as possible. Try to get a picture of the father of the bride when he sees his daughter for the first time and the look on the groom’s face when he sees you for the first time, but don’t forget that the brides first look at her groom standing at the altar is also very special.

6.) A photo as you leave the church

A picture captured looking down the aisle as the bride and groom leave as husband and wife, often captures the unbridled joy on the couple’s faces and the smiles of many happy guests

7.) A confetti shot

If there’s going to be confetti, then a shot taken through the falling pieces is artful and fun to look back on.  How sweet is this couple being showered with love on the city hall steps?

8.) Photos of private moments

Candid photos of a private moment between the bride and groom are often some of the most extraordinary pictures that you will have from your wedding day. Sneak away for five minutes with your partner and your photographer to bask in your own happiness and take a few moments for yourself while allowing your photographer to work their magic in the background.
